Short Poems

1. “Crossroads”
At the crossroads of life
Two paths lay before me
One leads to darkness
The other, clarity

I hesitate, unsure
Which path to choose today
For every choice I make
Will shape my life one way

2. “If Only”
If only I had known
The price of my actions
I wouldn’t have chosen
To go down that path again

Regret now fills my heart
With each decision I make
I know I should have been
Wiser with my choices

3. “The Right Choice”
The right choice is not easy
It requires strength and will
But deep down in your heart
You’ll know you’re doing what’s real

So choose the hard path, friend
Though it may cause you fear
For in the end, you’ll find
That happiness is near

4. “Freedom”
With every choice we make
Comes freedom, or control
We hold the power to shape
Our destiny, our goal

So make your choices wisely
And never fear the path
For every step you take
Leads to your ultimate task.

Medium Poems

The Crossroads

At the crossroads of life we stand,
A path to choose, a fate at hand.
One leads to joy, one leads to pain,
Which road will we take, what will we gain?

The choice is ours, to make or break,
Our destiny unknown, our future at stake.
We weigh the options, we contemplate,
Which way to go, before it’s too late.

The road less travelled may be tough,
But it leads to growth, and that’s enough.
We’ll make mistakes, we’ll stumble and fall,
But we’ll rise again, and give it our all.

So let’s choose wisely, let’s not delay,
For time waits for no one, it slips away.
Let’s take the road that fills us with light,
And embrace the journey, with all our might.

The Power of Choice

We hold within us great power,
To shape the course of life’s hour.
The power of choice, a gift divine,
To create our fate, to design our line.

We can choose to love, or we can choose to hate,
We can choose to create, or we can choose to berate.
We can lift up others, or bring them down,
The choice is ours, it’s ours to own.

We can choose to dream, or we can choose to despair,
We can choose to hope, or we can choose to beware.
We can choose to stay still, or we can choose to grow,
The choice is ours, let our potential show.

So let’s choose wisely, let’s choose with care,
For the choices we make, will determine our fare.
Let’s choose love, let’s choose light,
And let’s use our power, to make our world bright.

Long Poems

The Crossroads

At the crossroads of life, we stand,
Paths ahead, branching out to unknown lands,
Choices to make, with trembling hands,
Destinations set, by the choices we command.

One path, we see, paved with gold,
Glittering in the sun, with stories untold,
A promise of comfort, easy and old,
But a life of regrets, if the heart is cold.

The other path, winding and rough,
A journey of struggle, with challenges enough,
But a life of joy, strong and tough,
With courage and faith, as your only stuff.

We look back, to memories gone by,
The choices we made, to laugh or to cry,
Some decisions we made, with a sigh,
Regrets we bear, as we ask ourselves why.

But the past is gone, a lesson to learn,
A mistake can be a blessing to discern,
Opportunities come, in every turn,
A future to embrace, with passion to burn.

So, at the crossroads, we take a pause,
Reflect on our values, on what matters most,
Choose with intent, without any remorse,
And embrace the life, that we truly endorse.

For at the end, it’s not the destination,
But the journey, that brings satisfaction,
It’s the choices we make, without hesitation,
That defines us, with purpose and passion.

The Road Not Taken

Two paths diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
