Poem About Break Up – Popular Poems about Breaking Up

After Breakup Thoughts
by Patrick ‘the pyropoet’ littrell

I love you more every day,
My name I long for you to say.
Do you know just how I feel?
Do you know this love is real?
Sometimes I wonder what you think.
When you hear my name, do your cheeks turn pink?
Do you dream about me every night?
Wish to hug me and hold me tight?
Do you think we’re meant to be?
Together forever, you and me?
These are the questions that run through my mind,
Your way into my heart, you did find.
It drives me crazy as to what I should do,
Should I risk a friendship and confess to you?
Or should I keep my feelings inside,
Keep them locked up, let them hide?
I just don’t know what to do anymore,
My heart it aches, my heart it’s sore.
I love you more than you could know,
And I don’t want to ever let you go.
So even if I’m just a friend,
I’ll always love you until the end.

On A Breakup
by kanav justa

The day you left, as I recall
You stood so high, you stood so tall
No wonder you couldn’t hear me say
So high you were, so low I lay
Since she has left many have left
I wish if those promises were kept
My vision has now started to blur
My hairs have shown their true color
Once which were, as dark as black
Have started to grow, on my back
And some of them which couldn’t change
Have left my skull and I look so strange
Since she has gone, I am a different man
Faster than usain bolt she ran
I saw her going from my eyes
Not a single word and no good byes
Now everything I see Is blue
From movies to monkeys of zoo
Every night is same, same is the day
I wish like you if I could play
All says now, that I am so rude
I hate myself when I see me nude
Everything I do, reminds me of you
My biceps have shrunk by an inch or two
I shut my eyes, I no longer sleep
I tell someone, he is a son of beep
Friends have turned into my foe
They call me now a crooked crow
Its summers time, and I feel so cold
Warm me my love, before I get old
Before I breakdown, before I sigh
You can always mend me with some lie
I love you now, I love you then
I love you like cock loves his hen
I love you no matter where you are
Till you see me in some star

After Breakup
by Sheikh Shadi Marjan

Ribs are very pain today
I have forgotten her words
It has come to understand the foolish
The pains have taught all
I saw happiness in my tears
He found happiness in his smile

He didn’t think about,
The time we spent all night,
Over the phone,
Sharing our happiness,
Also our sorrows….
He didn’t think about,
The time we enjoyed,
The ride on his bike,
Not caring about the time,
Not caring about the world….
He didn’t think about,
The promises he made,
That he’ll never leave me,
Wiping out my tears,
Holding me close to him….
He didn’t think about,
How much I loved him,
How much he meant to me,
Asked me for a break up,
And left me alone….

No more tears can I cry
From these tired brown eyes
I don’t think I want to even open them
They’ll just fill with pictures of you
No more sounds can I hear
From these broken down ears
I don’t want to hear anything anyway
They’ll just hear your last hurtful words
No more love can I do
With out the love of you
All my senses are dead
From those words that you said
Well I hate you too
