Short Poems

1. “Empty Inside”
Alone in my room,
The world seems so silent,
But inside me, all I hear
Is the sound of emptiness, violent.

2. “Broken Dreams”
I had big plans for my life,
But now they lay shattered and broken,
And I can’t help but feel
Like all my dreams have been stolen.

3. “Heavy Heart”
My heart feels like lead,
Weighed down by pain and sorrow,
But I know I must keep going
And face each new tomorrow.

4. “Silent Tears”
My tears fall like raindrops,
But no one hears them hit the ground,
And though I try to hide them,
The loneliness can still be found.

Medium Poems

Painful Memories

Memories of you haunt my heart
Like an endless, piercing dart
They twist and turn inside my mind
Leaving grief and pain behind

The laughter, love, and joy we shared
Now seem like things of another world
I long to hold you close once more
But you’ve left me at death’s door

The painful memories never fade
Of the moment when you went away
I try to smile and move ahead
But my heart’s stuck in the past, it’s dead

Unseen Tears

Nobody sees my hidden tears
My aching heart, my secret fears
I put on a brave face each day
But inside, I’m withering away

The pain and sorrow are hard to bear
As I try to put on a façade with care
I don’t want to burden anyone
So I lock myself up, alone and undone

The world sees me as a happy soul
But deep down, I’m losing control
My unseen tears flow like a river
As I try to cope and deliver

Torn Apart

My heart is torn apart
Shattered into a million parts
The love and trust that we shared
Is gone now, beyond repair

The dreams we had are now a memory
Of a time when we were happy and free
But life gets in the way sometimes
And it tears apart the finest of lines

I wish I could turn back time
To when everything was just fine
But now I am left with nothing
But the pain of love’s undoing

Long Poems

Im Hurting Inside

I’m hurting inside, can’t you see?
The pain is deep, it won’t let me be.
Secretly, I cry myself to sleep,
Wishing the hurt would end and my happiness keep.

I try to mask the pain with a smile,
But my heart is breaking all the while.
I don’t know how to make it stop,
Or how to make the happiness on top.

I wish I could turn back time,
To when I was young and life was sublime.
When worries were few, and love was pure,
And pain and heartbreak were not yet in store.

But time moves on, and so does the pain,
And no matter what I do, it all remains.
Sometimes I wish I could run away,
And leave this hurt behind, to not come again.

The hurt comes from deep within,
And it won’t go away, no matter how much I grin.
It’s like an open wound, that just won’t heal,
And all I want is to find a way to deal.

Sometimes I wonder, if anyone cares,
Or if I’m alone in this pain and despair.
What I wouldn’t give, for a comforting embrace,
To feel loved and safe, in this lonely space.

But for now, I’ll keep on going,
And keep on smiling, though my heart is slowing.
I know that one day, the hurt will ease,
And I’ll find the happiness, that I so desperately seek.
