The Broken Chain
We knew that morning, that God was calling your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death, we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
Unseen Links
The chain of life, so strong and bright, has links we cannot see,
In every heart that’s touched by love, in every memory.
Though one link breaks, the love remains, to bind us ever tight,
In every tear, in every smile, our spirits reunite.
The broken chain will mend with time, with love’s own healing grace,
And in the end, we’ll find again, our cherished, sacred place.
Links of Love
The chain of love once strong and bright,
Now lies broken in the night.
Each link, a memory of days gone by,
A silent tear, a whispered sigh.
In moments shared, our hearts entwined,
But time’s harsh hand, the chain unbinds.
Though links are broken, love remains,
In every heart, a tender pain.
The chain may break, but not the bond,
Of love’s sweet echo, a lasting song.
Though parted now, in time and space,
Our love endures, a warm embrace.
In dreams, we mend the broken chain,
With love’s soft touch, we heal the pain.
Each memory, a link restored,
In hearts that cherish, love’s reward.
So though the chain may lie apart,
Forever linked, within our hearts.
The love we’ve shared, the bond we’ve known,
In every link, our hearts have grown.
