"The pain is deep and endless It consumes my every thought It wraps itself around my heart And leaves me feeling fraught

I try to escape its grasp But it follows me wherever I go It lurks in the corners of my mind And fills my days with woe

I try to push it down To bury it deep inside But it rises up again Like a relentless tide

I try to find some peace But the pain is always there A constant presence in my life That I cannot ignore or bare

It wears me down and drains me Leaves me feeling empty and alone But I keep on fighting Hoping one day I'll find my way home

For even in the darkest of times I know that I am strong And I will not let the pain defeat me I will keep on fighting on"
