It wasn't our fate, my love, to walk this earthly plane,
Though dreams were sweet and hopes were high, we couldn't break the chain.
The stars above, they told their tale, in whispers soft and low,
That though we loved with all our hearts, it wasn't meant to grow.
Through tears and smiles, we said goodbye, to paths we couldn't take,
It wasn't our fate, my dear, yet love will never break.

We weren't destined, you and I, to share this life's embrace,
Though love was pure and hearts were true, we had to find our place.
The universe, with all its might, had plans beyond our sight,
