Love

Name: "Corn on the Cob"

Butter, salt, and pepper,
Corn on the cob never better.
Juicy kernels bursting with sweet,
A summer treat that can't be beat.

Love

Name: "Kernels of Love"

Corn in a can, a humble thing,
But it can make your heart sing.
Add some meat and some spices,
You've got a dish that entices.

03

Love

Name: "Popcorn Magic"

A kernel, a pop, and a magical sound,
A snack that can never be frowned.
Butter and salt, or perhaps some cheese,
Popcorn's the treat that people please.

04

Love

Name: "Cornucopia Dreams"

Cornucopia, a symbol of plenty,
A sculpture shaped like a horn, simply.
Filled with fruits, vegetables, and grain,
A bounty of goodness that we obtain.

The Corniest Love

You're the corn on my cob,
The apples in my pie,
The butter on my bread,
The cheese to my fry.

You're the salt in my soup,
The cream in my tea,
The sugar in my coffee,
The peas in my pea.

You're the corniest love,
But I don't mind,
Because with you by my side,
Life is always kind.

A-maize-ing Summer

Walking through cornfields so beautiful and tall,
Ears of corn whispering secrets that call,
The sun beaming down upon my face,
This summer day, my heart you'll embrace.

Golden kernels like treasures to be had,
A-maize-ing moments, making me glad,
The rustling sound beneath my feet,
A melody that's oh so sweet.

The summer sun setting behind the cobs,
My heart is full, overflowing with sobs,
Of joy, of wonder, of gratitude,
For moments like these, my heart is imbued.

A Corny Ode to Love

Oh, love is like a field of corn
Growing tall, from dusk 'til morn
Each stalk stands firm, erect and proud
And, like love, they form a crowd

The cobs, like hearts, all tightly bound
Within their husks, they're ripe and sound
And when you peel them back, you'll see
The sweetest kernels, filled with glee

Just like the love that's in your heart
It's hidden deep, but won't depart
And when you open up to love
You'll feel it, like a feathered dove

The leaves, like arms, they intertwine
Protecting each stalk, like valentine
Through wind and rain, they hold on tight
Their love for corn, it shines so bright

And when those golden fields are harvested
It's like the love that's been invested
You reap the bounty that you've sown
And all that love, it's yours alone

So plant your seeds of love, my friend
And let them grow, from end to end
The harvest that you'll reap someday
Will make your heart sing, every day

Ode to Corny Jokes

Oh, how I love a good corny joke,
One that makes me laugh until I choke.
It may be cheesy, or oh so lame,
But nothing beats a joke that's just the same.

Why did the chicken cross the road?
To get to the other side, the punchline showed.
It may be old and overused,
But it still makes me smile, that's not to be refused.

Knock, knock, who's there?
Boo. Boo who? Don't cry, it's just a joke to share.
The punchline's terrible, but that's ok,
It still makes me laugh, in its own special way.

Did you hear about the guy who invented Lifesavers?
They say he made a mint. The pun made me chuckle, no need to hint.
It's silly and absurd, but it never gets old,
It always makes me smile, and that's worth its weight in gold.

Why did the tomato turn red?
Because it saw the salad dressing! A joke that's often said.
It's corny and predictable, a classic in its own right,
But it still makes me giggle, oh what a sight.

I could go on with corny jokes galore,
Each one making me laugh a little bit more.
It may not be sophisticated, or cleverly witty,
But a good corny joke, it's more than just pretty.

For in this world of chaos and strife,
A good corny joke can brighten our life.
It's a little reminder, that things can still be fun,
And in the end, that's what matters, when all's said and done.

So here's to all the corny jokes out there,
For bringing us laughs, we'll forever share.
May they never go out of style, or lose their charm,
For a good corny joke, it'll forever remain warm.
