Love

Fading Echoes

In twilight's grasp, where memories lapse, a mind begins to stray,
Alzheimer's tide, so vast and wide, sweeps cherished thoughts away.
The face once known, a heart's dear home, now veiled in fog's embrace,
Each name, each place, a fleeting trace, lost in time's silent chase.
Yet in those eyes, where shadows rise, a spark of love remains,
Through dimming light, a soul's own fight, enduring through the pains.
Though words may fail, emotions pale, the essence lingers still,
A touch, a smile, bridges the mile, where memories distill.
So hold them tight, in love's own light, as days turn into years,
For though they fade, the love conveyed, transcends all earthly fears.

Love

Silent Farewell

In corridors of yesterday, where echoes softly tread,
The mind, it drifts, through time it shifts, to moments long since shed.
Alzheimer's veil, a mournful tale, of memories unwound,
Each passing day, they slip away, without a single sound.
Yet in the heart, though worlds apart, the essence still resides,
A love once known, through ages grown, within the soul abides.
Through vacant stares and silent prayers, the bond remains intact,
A silent plea, for what will be, to bring those moments back.
So in the hush, when shadows rush, to claim what once was clear,
Remember well, the love that dwells, eternal and sincere.

Love

Fading Memories

In the quiet of the mind's retreat,
Memories fade, bittersweet.
Faces blur and names escape,
Time distorts its once clear shape.
A whisper lost, a story fades,
In the shadowed, silent glades.
The mind's own maze, a tangled thread,
Of moments lost and words unsaid.
Yet in the heart, love holds fast,
Anchored deep, meant to last.
Through the fog, a gentle touch,
A reminder of so much.
Though memories wane, the spirit stays,
A light that time cannot erase.
In every smile, in every tear,
The essence of you remains near.
Alzheimer's veil may draw a line,
Between the present and the time,
But love transcends, forever true,
Holding close the heart of you.
