Boundary’s Edge:
Fenceline marking land’s divide,
Where the fields and paths collide.
Standing tall in sun and rain,
Fenceline’s strength will never wane.
Posts and rails that tell a tale,
Of boundaries set in rustic trail.
In your presence, land’s embrace,
Fenceline, a defining grace.
Silent Watcher:
Fenceline standing through the years,
Witness to the joys and tears.
Quiet guard of fields and homes,
Fenceline, where the wild roams.
In your shadows, life unfolds,
Stories of the young and old.
Fenceline, steadfast, strong and true,
Guardian of the land we view.
Rustic Divide:
Fenceline stretching far and wide,
Rustic charm on countryside.
In your lines, the landscape’s drawn,
Fenceline, in the early dawn.
Wood and wire, stone and steel,
Fenceline’s presence, firm and real.
Dividing spaces, yet you bind,
Fenceline, hearts and lands aligned.
The Fencing Fiasco
There once was a fence, old and creaky,
With posts so bent, it looked quite freaky.
The gate wouldn’t close,
It tickled my nose,
And the latch was so loose, it got leaky.
The dog slipped right through,
The cat followed too,
While the rooster crowed, feeling cheeky.
One day in a rush,
I gave it a push,
And down it all came, oh so squeaky!
Fence Friends
On a fence sat a cat and a crow,
Debating where next they should go.
“To the moon!” said the cat,
“To the dump,” said the bat,
And the crow just said, “Eh, I don’t know.”
Along came a squirrel,
With a tail in a swirl,
And joined in the curious show.
They planned and they plotted,
Till the wood it got rotted,
And down came the fence with a blow.
Fence’s Divide
In fields where boundaries are set,
The fenceline stands, a quiet duet.
With posts so firm and lines so straight,
It graces the land, a guarded gate.
The fenceline, a symbol of the line,
Divides the fields, both yours and mine.
In every post, a story’s spun,
Of land’s own heart, of day’s begun.
Through seasons’ turn and weather’s wear,
The fenceline stands in silent care.
A mark upon the earth’s own face,
The fenceline holds its place.
