Be My Valentine Poem

Author: Cathy Boulanger

I never knew desire so consuming with demands,
I never felt such hunger for the touch of someone’s hands.
Can’t explain the yearning to be held within your arms
Completely captivated by your innocence and charms.
I’m sure it seems insane to some to lose my heart this way
It’s like I’ve no control in this, it’s stronger every day.
Tell me, my sweet Valentine, things I long to hear
Whisper secrets, hopes and dreams softly in my ear.
To wake and find you next to me would be the greatest sight
Tell me it’s the same for you, and please be mine tonight?
